Research Interests
My general research interests involve the interactions of physics and biology. More specifically, I am interested in elucidating how physical processes such as hydrodynamics influence the life history of planktonic organisms. More specific information about my work can be found on our larval ecology page.
Other interests
I do volunteer work with Mote Marine Lab in Florida to assist with dolphin and manatee research. Additionally, I assist the Connecticut State Museum of Natural History with their shell collection. Finally, my other hobby during warm weather is gardening.
